Railway ALP Vacancy Eligibility Criteria
आरआरबी उम्मीदवार के चयन के लिए पात्रता आवश्यकताओं का एक निश्चित सेट निर्धारित करता है। Railway ALP Vacancy Exam 2024 के लिए निर्धारित पात्रता मानदंड यहां दिए गए हैं:
- Apply candidates must have Indian citizenship.
- Educational Qualification For Railway ALP Vacancy – Matriculation pass plus
ITI in specified trades/Act Apprenticeship (in the trades of Armature and Coil Winder / Electrician / Electronics Mechanic / Fitter / Heat Engine / Instrument Mechanic / Machinist / Mechanic Diesel / Mechanic Motor Vehicle / Millwright Maintenance Mechanic / Mechanic Radio & TV / Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Mechanic / Tractor Mechanic / Turner / Wireman)
OR
Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile Engineering in lieu of ITI
Note: Combination of various streams of trades of Engineering disciplines from a recognized Institution in lieu of ITI.
Candidates with a Degree in the Engineering disciplines as above will also be acceptable in lieu of a Diploma in Engineering.
3. RRB ALP Age Requirements
The age of the applicants for the post of RRB ALP recruitment must be within the age limit as specified below:
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 28 years (General Category)

RRB ALP Stage 1 Exam Pattern
In the first stage, the test will be comprised of multiple-choice questions. Maximum question and marks will be 75.

After qualifying for the Railway ALP Vacancy CBI I Exam, Candidates need to take the CBT II exam. In the second stage of the Railway ALP Vacancy process, candidates will have a questionnaire split into two parts.

RRB ALP Stage 3 Exam Pattern
The final stage of the Railway ALP Vacancy Process is the computer-based aptitude test (CBAT). After clearing both papers, students can appear for RRB ALP Paper number 3. Only the Assistant Loco-Pilot aspirants are required to attend this test.

RRB ALP Salary
The selected candidates for RRB ALP Vacancies will be entitled to Level 2 of the Pay Matrix Level 2, with an initial pay scale of INR 19,900 along with other allowances including-
- House Rent Allowance (HRA)
- Dearness Allowance (DA)
- Running Allowance (Based on the km travelled)
- Transport Allowance
- New Pension Scheme (10% Deduction) etc,
The Pay Scale will be as follows –

How To Railway ALP Vacancy 2024 Online Apply
Step 1- Click on the online application link for the recruitment of ALP on the official website
Step 2- Enter your name, Date of Birth and Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Aadhaar number, State, Community, SSLC/Matric Roll number, year of passing SSLC/Matric, mobile number and email-id and then submit for registration.
Step 3- Before submitting for registration, ensure and confirm that all the information entered is correct.
Step 4- On submitting the RRB ALP Registration form, the registration number and password shall be generated.
Step 5- Also, OTPs (One Time Password) will be sent to the registered mobile number and email along with the registration details.
Step 6- In Part 1 of the RRB ALP application page, provide the details of educational qualification, Community, Gender, Religion, Ex-SM, PWD, Minority, Economically backward class, Age relaxation eligibility category as applicable and other details.
Step 7- On completion of application details, the candidate will be directed to the payment page to choose payment mode or Post-Office Challan and complete the payment process.
Step 8- In case of online payment, you will be automatically directed to ‘Part II’ of the application to fill up additional details.
Step 9– In the ‘Part II’ application page, fill in details of Scribe (if applicable), Detailed Educational Qualification, Choice of Exam Language for First and Second stage CBT
Step 10- Select the Upload Photo tab and upload your color photograph of the dimensions mentioned.
Step 11- Candidates are advised to keep at least 4 copies of the same photograph for further use as and when required during the RRB ALP recruitment process.
Step 12- Candidates belonging to SC/ST have to upload scanned copies of their SC/ST certificates (if any).
Step 13- Confirm the declaration of terms and conditions in the application.
Step 14- The entire application shall be displayed and the candidate may take the print of the RRB ALP application and preserve it for reference and record

RRB ALP Modification of Application
RRB ALP ऑनलाइन आवेदन के अंतिम जमा करने के बाद, यदि आप आवेदन पत्र में अनजाने त्रुटियों को ठीक करने के लिए मामूली बदलाव करना चाहते हैं, तो राज्य, ईमेल और मोबाइल नंबर के अलावा अन्य डेटा का सुधार गैर-वापसी योग्य संशोधन का भुगतान करके किया जा सकता है। शुल्क रु. 250/- यह दिए गए समय में केवल दो बार किया जा सकता है। हालांकि, रजिस्ट्रेशन नंबर, ईमेल आईडी और मोबाइल नंबर नहीं बदला जा सकता है।

- Go to the “ONLINE/E-Application” link and then click on the ‘Modify Application’ link.
- Login using Registration Number and Password.
